I have just seen that it is possible to use WYSIWYG tools to edit wiki pages in 
versions of MoinMoin more recent than the Jwiki's current 1.3.5.

I suspect that the availability of such tools would reduce the initial 
knowledge barrier that may be discouraging community members from contributing 
to the wiki.

Users can choose whether to use the WYSIWIG tools or not, so those who prefer 
to continue to use the traditional wiki syntax can do so.

Would it require much effort to update the Jwiki from version 1.3.5 to 1.6? If 
not it might be worthwhile!
