Chris,

I may be guilty here; I'm having some difficulty figuring out what types of posts go where. Let me ask about some specific types of topics; if you could give some guidance on where the post belongs that would help me a lot.

1. Where is (or, is there) documentation on this <script or addon or class or package or application>? 2. Does <script or addon or class or package or application> support <some sort of functionality>? 3. Some sort of documentation (in distribution or on web site or on wiki> seems to have an error, here it is, am I right, and who needs to know to get it fixed? 4. Does anybody know if there is a script or application that does <some functionality>? 5. Some sort of <demo or lab> seems to have a problem. Here's what I think the problem is...

and finally,

6. If a thread seems to wander from one domain to another, is there a graceful way of moving between forums?

Thanks in advance for the guidance.

Tom

Quite a few threads that we would like to see in the programming forum
are appearing in the general forum, e.g. the recent thread on stock

Please use programming for any discussions on using J, and general only
for installation or related issues. A simple rule of thumb is that if
your installation is working properly, then your message likely belongs
to programming.

The idea is that discussions on using J are of interest to most of the
forum, while any relating to installation, only to those with a similar
platform.
