I tried FontChooser - it seems to have the same issue - when I start it with the screen small, I get small fonts. When I start it after going to full screen, the same font will be displayed bigger in the dialog & test app. Another symptom in J: * Start J session with Virtual OS in small screen. * Make virtual OS full screen. * Move the IJX session window to the right of the screen (i.e. to real estate that didn't exist when the session was started) * Click on a menu = the menu displays, but it is outside the IJX window to its left. I imagine that J has determined the screen size when the session is initialised and this doesn't get updated. A workaround might be to provide some way of resetting that screen size setting while the session is running? I imagine the same issues will arise where you connect your laptop, to a screen with bigger (desktop) or smaller (projector) dimensions. > This may be happening: > http://www.jsoftware.com/pipermail/beta/2006-September/002086.html > > --- Eric Iverson <eiverson at sympatico.ca> wrote: > > Rather than build a complete new linux wbeta I have just built a new > > j.jar that adjusts linux dpi to 96 if the getScreenResolution is > between > > 72 and 96. > See also > [Jbeta] linux font size > http://www.jsoftware.com/pipermail/beta/2006-September/002085.html > > [Jbeta] font sizes > http://www.jsoftware.com/pipermail/beta/2006-September/002069.html > > (Any time The Three Blind Men and the Elephant is mentioned, it always > sounds insulting...) > > > > > ----- Original Message ---- > > From: "Sherlock, Ric" <[email protected]> > > > > > From: bill lam > > > > > > On Wed, 18 Mar 2009, Sherlock Ric wrote: > > > > ....
