I tried FontChooser - it seems to have the same issue - when I start it with
the screen small, I get small fonts. When I start it after going to full
screen, the same font will be displayed bigger in the dialog & test app.

Another symptom in J:
 * Start J session with Virtual OS in small screen.
 * Make virtual OS full screen.
 * Move the IJX session window to the right of the screen (i.e. to real
   estate that didn't exist when the session was started)
 * Click on a menu
= the menu displays, but it is outside the IJX window to its left.

I imagine that J has determined the screen size when the session is initialised
and this doesn't get updated. A workaround might be to provide some way of
resetting that screen size setting while the session is running?

I imagine the same issues will arise where you connect your laptop, to a screen
with bigger (desktop) or smaller (projector) dimensions.
