Don, Your fix helped, but I have another question. The definition of even seems to work your way and also if the definition is forced to be a dyadic definition by inserting a line ':' before the meat of the definition. That surprises me and I would like to understand that better. Also the definition of even works with u instead of x, but that does not surprise me.
