I don't have a smartphone anymore ... I did try putting J in one a few years back and I didn't download the J package directly to the device. I did it the same way with my pocket pc. 1. Download J for pocket pc using desktop and unpack it 2. Navigate to your smartphone device and copy the whole J directory 3. Right click the J.exe icon in your device and make a shortcut 4. copy this shortcut to your \Windows\StartMenu
All of the operations above I did from the desktop. Also, I don't actually remember if its \Windows\StartMenu or \Windows\Menu ... somebody else might remember. :) Good luck! -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of DIETER ENSSLEN Sent: Sunday, August 09, 2009 11:43 PM To: General forum Subject: Re: [Jgeneral] Array Based Languages anyone out there who might know where I might find J on my smart phone, it took time in apparently transferring into it but is not findable i know the way to find it on my hp pocket pc, it is not straightforward but I can find it and it works thanks Dick ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For information about J forums see http://www.jsoftware.com/forums.htm ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For information about J forums see http://www.jsoftware.com/forums.htm
