Dieter,
Sounds to me like you have copied the j602 folder to "My Device\Program
Files\j602" rather than "My Device\j602" as is suggested by the installation
instructions. For that reason the hardcoded path in the shortcuts won't work if
you copy them to "My Device\Windows\Start Menu\Programs".
You have two main options:
  A) Leave J installed at "My Device\Program Files\j602" and edit the .lnk
files to point towards the actual location of J on your Pocket PC, then copy
them to "My Device\Windows\Start Menu\Programs"

  B) Move your J installation to "\My Device\j602", copy the current .lnk files
to "My Device\Windows\Start Menu\Programs"

I'd suggest option B because it will be simpler and is recommended by Jsoftware.

To copy/cut a file/folder using File Explorer on your PocketPC:
   * highlight the file or folder you want to cut/copy
   * Menu|Edit|Cut  or Menu|Edit|Copy
   * Move to the folder you want to paste the file/folder
   * Menu|Edit|Paste

Another option is to connect your PocketPC to your Laptop/Desktop Windows
machine using a USB cable so that it shows up as a browseable device. You can
then use Windows Explorer and your mouse to work with the files as you would on
your desktop.

HTH
