Haven't messed with the Pocket PC lately, but a while back I bounced
scripts to the Pocket PC quite easily. The one I have has a Wireless
LAN interface. So all I had to do was access a file server I have. I
could create a script using my PC which is saved on the file server
then load it directly onto the Pocket PC. As such, I could use the PC
keyboard which was much easier to use and the bigger screen to see
more. I could do a quick test to see how the script runs on the PC
then load it on the Pocket PC to try it for real.

First, you can access files from a Pocket PC with a wireless LAN the
same way you would on a PC. To simply things I created a folder name
in the config file for the file server (the names beginning with ~).
Then I did the same on the Pocket PC, though it was a little more
difficult as there is not a pretty configuration form to make it easy.
You have to edit the config file. But it is still easy to load and
edit the script.

Now when I wanted to run a script I had just edited and did a
preliminary test on my PC, I simply issued a load on the Pocket PC to
run it there.

No hassle, almost as fast as running it on my regular PC.

If you're running XP then you could just share a directory on your PC
then access it from your Pocket PC. But if you have VISTA it is a
little more difficult. For some reason Microsoft went nuts with
security on VISTA and I have had little success sharing anything
except "public".
