Hi,

I dual-booted my Lenovo T61 with WinXP+OpenSUSE 11.1 64 bit (was previously
WinXP+Ubuntu). So I downloaded J64 from the jsoftware website and installed it
in ~/bin. Now running J quits with an error that jwd can't find java64.
Executing 'java -version' tells me that I already have the 64bit version of
Java. I tried searching the forum and this is the only thread that I found that
mentions java64.

So, (1) do I have to edit the jwd script or do I just make a symlink of java to
java64? (2)I'm using OpenJDK for Java ... isn't this compatible with the Sun
Java version?

Thanks.

r/Alex

Subject: Re: [Jbeta] 602 ebeta available for linux32 and linux64

on my system, /usr/bin/java is already the 64-bit java, and java64 is not
defined. I changed java64 to java in jwd script.

    jmz''
5 5 25 5 21 31
2 2 24 2 21 31
4 4 24 4 21 31

and in opengl lab, it said "opengl not supported on j64". Will opengl be
supported in future beta?
