The Preselected Folders are just there as examples. You should define
your own Folder names.

If your Project list is too narrow, perhaps it is because your project
directories are too far below the Folders. I put up an image of my own
dialog at http://www.jsoftware.com/jwiki/ChrisBurke/ProjectOpen. What
is yours like?
