Alex (bathala) Rufon (1973-2011) has passed away after a short illness. Alex worked as a J developer at a manufacturer in the Philippines, and was one of the stalwarts of the J community. He was extremely helpful in setting up and contributing to the J wiki and code repositories. In the last few days when he seemed to have recovered from liver disease, we were discussing his work on a native cocoa ide for J.
