I have a standard Jgtk installation.
According to package manager all addons are installed and up to date.
In a fresh start I get the following

What do I have to do to get it going? Are there some other packages we need
to run first? If so which ones?
Can they be built in as a part of the 'plot' call?
>From Launch Pad the plot demo runs, openglsimple and opengldemo still do not
operate correctly.
openglsimple creates a jconsole.exe icon on the task bar and may display a
form but it flashes off screen to my right.
opengldemo displays the message previously reported in a callback window.

On pressing OK it opens a window with the Options and
and opens a canvas but no drawing.
I copied the stand alone script and tried to run it. It behaves in the same
way with the message modified to

On OK again a canvas but no drawing.
The machine I have tried this on is running under Windows Vista.
