Inspired by Brian Schott's YouTube video on installing J701, I finally
got around to installing J701 64-bit on a new MacBook. After downloading
and the dragging the J701 folder into the Applications folder, I fired
up J701jhs, then in the browser window ran jal to download all libraries.

To my surprise, when I tried running a Lab from the Studio menu, I got a
message that no labs were found -- even though clearly they had just all
been installed.

It was only after I shut down J and then restarted that the labs were
found, and I could now run them.

Perhaps this is worth a little warning somewhere (or maybe it's there
but I missed it).

P.S. I got another surprise running the Plot Package Lab: In the 15th
frame, input

     plot sin */~ steps 0 3 50

produced error message

too much data (chart url is too large)

and in place of the expected graphic, a frame with an "?" icon in its
middle. The same thing happened for subsequent frames 16 through 19.
This is repeatable, so it wasn't some glitch.

Aside from my own surprise, I should think this would be most
off-putting to somebody evaluating J.
