I had the privilege yesterday to give a demo of J on a 64 bit machine. I decided to use only J7 as no J was installed there.
It took amazingly short time to do. The machine as connected to a very speedy line so the download and install took only seconds and JHS was up and running in no time flat. Very impressive! Installing GTK did not take long either and adding the addons was amazingly quick and everything worked according to plan. The demo went better than expected and I was actually happy not installing J6 as a reserve to get the demos there. Demo6 in JHS was probably the best. Interestingly there was no difference visible between demo1 and demo2 as this machine was so quick.
