You may use the verb xedit to invoke an external editor, first set
up perfererance in ~config/base.cfg.  I use (for the linux)

  Editor=: 'xterm -e vim +%l %f'

For windows and if vim (not cgywin versionn) has been installed,
that line (in the window branch) should be

  Editor=: '/path/to/gvim +%l %f'

not sure about cgywin.
