With the discussion of J Language on the iPhone limited to the beta fourm, I worry that, lacking promotion, those few folks who stumble across it in the App Store won't find an appropriate discussion venu.
Thinking of J magic that would astound even those of us that don't speak math beyond takeaways and gozindas, it occurs to me that there are many apps on our iPhones whose core essential functionality could be provided by a line or two of J. Even beyond the obvious trivial expressions for a tip calculator, units converter, date calculators, etc., how about to-do lists, journals, and log books. Without stretching the Apple restrictions, add some simple socket stuff, maybe mix in some html5 and the sky is the limit. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For information about J forums see http://www.jsoftware.com/forums.htm
