the "fighting the terrorism" trip which allows them to establish at last
all/any restrictive laws they were always dreaming of. The worst is, a lot
of people will actually believe it is a good thing, like they believe
Microsoft is the best thing that happened to IT...

Anyway, the announcement is not really big news: Echelon has been there for
a
very long time. It would be ostrich politics to think your privacy was
guaranteed until now.
