Googling for sleep disorders linked to diabetes produces quite a few
links appearing to show a corelation between sleep apnea and diabetes.
Serious western research on this subject? Perhaps google for related
studies at any of the large teaching/research hospitals.
Johns-Hopkins and UTMB-Galveston might be good starting points.
