Foregoing, with great restraint, the rant(s), I've pretty much
decided to do taxes this year via pen and ink.

So, I've just begun an OpenOffice.org(638) sheet to help me with
the arithmetic. I did google and ask here and there to see if this
had already been done (what hasn't?) but what I found didn't really
suit what I needed for one reason or another.

So far it's very rudimentary and not really very good for very
much. The basic US 1040 and the Canadian T1 plus some of the
calculations and overide cell links are about all that's done. I
plan on adding things like W-2's, T4's, and doing a few other
things.

Any email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] will retrieve, eventually, an 'as is'
copy of whatever it's evolved to at the time.
