If you use an ipod with KDE, be sure to get the ipod kioslave. Requires
KDE 3.4

After a backup, I will check that drag and drop of files works. It has a
sync option, but warns that it is still early times for this. It also
seems to manage playlists, which I do not use and so cannot comment on.

Nice to hook up the ipod, and then click on titles and listen to them in
amarok.
