mutilated misquotes
from Roger Oberholtzer's 12 May 2005 classic prose
may follow:

" Odd that the other book purchases by those purchasing this book were all
" Ayn Rand. Not sure what to make of that. Being an Ayn Rand fan and all.

I dunno how much I'd read into that, altho I do have some Randanista
sympathies myself. Could just be what Amazon chose to record/show or
what kind of mood the buyer was in at that specific instant. For
example, I've bought "Ominous Parallels" and, at the time I also bought
other objectivist stuff. At a separate time the other day, tho, I
found myself walking towards the cash register holding on to a copy
of "Critique of Pure Reason". Didn't actually buy it, but I might
tomorrow.

Btw, except for "Ominous", I personally can't see a whole lot of
reason to think highly of Dr. Peikoff.

"Gold needs no endorsement, it can be tested with scales and

stamp upon it, if he does not trust the government that stamped it.
No act of faith is called for when gold is used in payments, and
no compulsion is required." -Benjamin M. Anderson
