Folks, Got this silliness in my inbox from open-systemspublishing.com:
---extract-- Are you willing to risk the stability of your deployments and your bottom line on non-commerical code? If not, download: Sourcing Security: http://www.rubinreports.com/click.php?ref=9167 ---end extract--- These folks are trying to convince folks OSS==bad, proprietary==good (you know the old M$ line). What strikes me funny is the link. Last time I looked, PHP and the systems it runs on are all OSS/non-proprietary vice ASP/IIS. So here's folks trying to convince others of the badness of OSS while using it themselves. Kinda like M$ trying to sell themselves at the only solution while hiding behind Akamai Linux proxy servers so their servers aren't cracked. Note: the only link for these jokers is to sales droids. I'm sure the irony would be lost on them. Ciao, David A.
