Sorry I started this by replying to an OT comment. Now on General.
Could well be, Bob. My comment was based on California's deficit
spending, not Dem/Rep politics in general. Even Governor Schwarzengger
hasn't been able to do much. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe
that the California Assembly and governorship has been solidly in Dem
hands for most of eternity. It's a considerable stretch to lay
California's mess at the hands of Bush/Cheny.
