I suggested the ARTS name but someone else suggested 'Arch Security
Team' and I was voted down. I don't have any problems with 'ArchServer
Security Team' for now. I don't want to foster a culture whereby
decisions are made from above and imposed on users. Participation and
inclusiveness are a must in my opinion.

I want to be open and honest about this. My ultimate goal is to see
the team as an official Arch Security Team with our infrastructure
moved over there if (hopefully) and when we become official. At the
moment I see our goals as being compatible, but even if we become an
official Arch Team, there's absolutely no reason why we couldn't
continue to support the packages in ArchServer as well. It wouldn't be
much extra work at all.

If these terms are ok with you, then I'd like us to join
archserver.org. If they're not then please send objections or
corrections to the list!

thanks,

Ananda Samaddar
