I thought this would be interesting to the ArchServer team as well for those who don't read the arch-releng mailing list.

Sweet! I was looking into writing something like this, but you beat me to
it, thanks! I will have to give this a try!

cool stuff.

http://hg.vejnar.org/trapezium/src/48b2bd6a1f10/config/example.script
could use a bit more clarity.
for example
trapezium=192.168.3.2:8086
wget .. $trapezium/...

and explain why the remove is needed. maybe only do the remove if aif exited
with exitcode 0.

also why the sleep 60 ?

http://hg.vejnar.org/trapezium/src/48b2bd6a1f10/config/example.cfg
what happens with specified nodes that have 'install:no'? it boots the archiso
images normally?

where do you specify which MAC adresses to bind to which configs? (~ "node$num"
hostnames?)

what happens when a machine boots which is not recognized?

how can you send different scripts to different machines?

rather then replying everything in this mail, just write the README directly ;)

Dieter
