Also in the test rdma_lat (under ~mst/perftest.git) there is an option -c that opens the connection using rdmacm
Look at librdmacm (or libibcm).  They provide higher-level
abstractions for connection establishment.
There is an example there too - rping that open RC connection with librdmacm
