Note that the private data length _is_ correct for iwarp. So the man pages should mention that this is an IB-only issue maybe? And maybe indicate that transport-independent applications should not rely on the length...
I modified the man pages to describe private_data_len as:
Specifies the size of the user-controlled data buffer. Note that the actual amount of data transferred to the remote side is transport dependent and may be larger than that requested.
