We discussed this previously and had agreed upon limiting the memory
foot print to 1GB by default. This module parameter was for larger
systems that had plenty of memory and could afford to use more.
This way the sys admin could increase the limit.
Hence I am not really in favour of removing this.
But doesn't the admin already have the necessary parameters to limit
memory usage? (max QPs, RQ depth, and mtu?)
