Agree, it's just an alias.

'any, pkey 0xNNNN' is useful too.
'ipoib, pkey 0xNNNN' is just for better readability of the matching rules.

It's QoS annex rules only.
AFAIK, ipoib keyword has a specific useful meaning to OpenSM (apart from
SL).
Sure, in partition cfg file ipoib has a special meaning.
But for QoS annex I treat both ipoib and just a pkey the same - I always
check whether
this pkey belongs to an ipoib-capable partition and update SL in the
mcast group.
