Hi Moshe,

You may be aware that Voltaire OFED changed the start order of openibd to be before network to fix a problem that an IB bond device would not come up correctly after a reboot. I know I've seen that with Red Hat.

I would like to see that fixed in OFED 1.3.1, as well as the panics I reported with IPoIB:

Bob
/From bonding and ipoib point of view, it's better to have openibd
/started before the network service is started .

In the openibd script we find that in SUSE network service is started
before openibd  ->

### BEGIN INIT INFO
# Provides:       openibd
# Required-Start: $local_fs $network

Can someone explain why ?

Can we change it before OFED-1.3.1 ?

Moshe
