Hello, everyone. I wonder if anyone can tell me how to take an IB interface offline on a running Linux (CENTOS 5 with OFED 1.3.1) system? I can cause it to loose its IP address with ifdown but it seems that the IP address is only involved in establishing new connections and removing it doesn¹t prevent the device from fielding traffic on established connections.
Does anybody know how this is done?
