Ronald Luijten of the IBM Zurich Research Lab will kickoff the Sonoma Workshop with a keynote on the evening of Sunday, March 22. The keynote will examine the requirements of network transports and wire protocols for 40 and 100 gigabit data rates. The entire agenda for the March 22-25 event is packed with great content, including speakers from AMD, Cisco, Intel, General Motors, Goldman Sachs, Microsoft, NASA, Oracle, the Linux Foundation and more. We will also hear from Addison Snell, Vice President and General Manager of Tabor Research, who will discuss the future of low-latency fabrics for HPC and enterprise datacenters, including the projected adoption rate for these fabrics and the likely impact of these technologies in the years ahead. A preliminary agenda is attached. Membership in the Alliance is not necessary to attend the Sonoma Workshop.
