From my experience using connected mode one can almost saturate DDR
link (1.9 GBs), I never saw datagram mode yielding such results, but
when I did the tests LRO was not yet available, so its possible things
got better. Going beyond DDR bandwith with connected mode may be
possible as well, e.g with the suggest set of optimized sysctls calls.
