I'll update and install according to the docs.
As as start, I svn upped and mvn installed, but:

Sounds like a classpath or "unclean" problem.
I suggest that you start by using the binary 0.9.4 out of the http://repository.ops4j.org/maven2/org/ops4j/pax/logging .
