Fully expand OSGI-INF and META-INF directories for Eclipse
----------------------------------------------------------
Key: PAXCONSTRUCT-8
URL: http://issues.ops4j.org/jira/browse/PAXCONSTRUCT-8
Project: Pax Construct
Issue Type: Improvement
Components: maven-pax-plugin
Affects Versions: 0.1.4
Reporter: Stuart McCulloch
Assigned To: Stuart McCulloch
Priority: Minor
Fix For: 0.1.5
The maven-pax-plugin currently extracts the generated bundle manifest at the
top of the bundle's project directory, as this is where the Eclipse IDE expects
to find it (if only it supported other locations!). Recent testing using a
declarative services Service Component has shown it also looks for the OSGI-INF
folder at the top of the project - if it doesn't find it, the bundle fails to
deploy cleanly (when launching Equinox from inside Eclipse).
The maven-pax-plugin should fully unpack (and clean-up) the contents of both
the META-INF and OSGI-INF directories, to improve the experience on Eclipse.
