That's probably a much more intelligent way of going about things. Since there is an infinite number of project templates one may want to use, it may be better to do what you suggest. In any case, that's what I do manually anyway. I take a project that has a structure similar to the new one I want to create, copy it, then change all the values (project name, package names, etc.).
