The long-term goal is that all logins are e-mails and consolidated into a single store. Somewhere down the line, I hope we can manage to get the subscriptions also tied to the logins, and all is easier for everyone. Right now, those who has different email address for mailing list and Jira/Svn logins, will require mailing list moderator approvals on initial commits and Jira posts. Want to get away from that. You can leave your additional one where it is. When the cleanup is happening, I'll make sure to ask around.
