Well, afaik, the scm location is changed automatically to the tag
created, so this is only needed when creating a branch i suppose (and
this is usually done manually afaik).  The repo usually does not
change, as we can configure a snapshot repo and a release repo...  The
only thing that it does not handle is to add the released version to
the list of already released version (but I've hardly seen anyone
using this section in the pom).
