Hmmm, I don't have the code in front of me. You are of course right that all exported packages that are used must be imported as well. I can't believe I missed that "up front", but perhaps it has disappeared somewhere along the way. Now, when you say this, do you really look inside the generated jar file's manifest, just to exclude the possibility that it happens automagically somewhere in the build process.
