Yes, Niclas and me came up with OPS as a reaction to the closing down of Avalon because of community issues, and Wikipedia as an example of removed entry barriers.
In our opinion, not only the out come of software development should be freely accessible but even the contribution should be done in a "least hassle" approach in order to capture all participation possibilities even form occlsional users and non-experts. I think the current activity and the quality of the projects, feedabck and involved contributors is a great indication that this actually can work and hopefully we can apply similar principles to the non core parts of qi4j and other projects later on. Happy X-mas etc to all the great folks around here, and maybe we can get the first 1.0 with PaxLogging out before New year! /peter On Dec 16, 2007 1:01 PM, Alin Dreghiciu <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > Niclas and Peter, thanx for coming up with this idea. > I hope that I do not make a mistake here and do not list somebody else but > if they are, Niclas/Peter can help us refresh our memories. > > > Alin > > > > On Dec 16, 2007 1:26 PM, Niclas Hedhman <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > Gang, yesterday I released Pax Logging version 1.0-RC1.
