Alin Dreghiciu commented on PAXCURSOR-34:
-----------------------------------------
I never used Eclipse for starting pax cursor, as I'm using IDEA for
development. The only thing I used Eclipse was to generate the right files as
fragments, site and so on.
All the time I used maven to build the jars and then startup an instance of
Eclipse and install the two plugins.
Related to the exception, can you check in the working directory of the started
eclipse app for an error file. I recall that there should be such a thing, but
I'n not sure how is named. That one should give more details about the
exception.
My wild guess is that the content of pax runner is not available, as Eclipse
will build the plugins by itself not by using maven, and the maven build also
embeds into the plugin the content of pax runner. So, if the build is not run,
the content of pax runner will not be there so you may get an class not found
or something like that.
