Yeah...basically, I think it'd be nice to be able to generate a WAR file with all of the goodness of the "war" packaging (compiled classes in WEB-INF/classes, for instance)...and all the goodness of the "bundle" packaging (using osgi.bnd to generate the manifest, among other things).
Sure...I can set up Maven to do all of that without support for "web-bundle" packaging--just like I can create a regular bundle without support for "bundle" packaging--it's just not as convenient.
