Specify Log4j Logging Directives on the Command Line
----------------------------------------------------
Key: PAXLOGGING-50
URL: http://issues.ops4j.org/browse/PAXLOGGING-50
Project: Pax Logging
Issue Type: New Feature
Reporter: Azubuko Obele
Assignee: Niclas Hedhman
Fix For: 1.3.1
It would be nice to be able to specify log4j logging directives on the command
line. For example, doing something like:
-Dpax.log4j.logger.org.springframework=WARN
The PaxLoggerServiceImpl (
http://www.ops4j.org/projects/pax/logging/xref/org/ops4j/pax/logging/internal/PaxLoggingServiceImpl.html
), when it goes to configure its default properties could then include all of
these command-line specified properties. This would be useful because during
debug sessions in Eclipse it'd be nice to quickly specify some directives via
different run configurations.
Thanks
