Hey all, I'd like to be able to add filters for my bundles that register servlets from other bundles. So, for instance, I might have a filter for decorating pages in a sitemesh bundle and another in filter for gzipping responses published from another bundle. Since there is no way to know a priori what the startup order of the filters will be, I need some way to tell Pax Web - and, by extension, the Extender Whiteboard - that the gzip filter should be applied first and the sitemesh one second, otherwise very bad things could happen if sitemesh tries to decorate a page after it's been gzipped. I thought of doing away with using Pax Web Extender Whiteboard since I'm only using it for registering servlets and replacing it with my own whiteboard implementation that defines a few well know filter points and allows for some well known filter processing points as well as weighting, or ordering filters.
Would the filter ordering be something that is generally useful in Pax Web? Thanks, Rich _______________________________________________ general mailing list [email protected] http://lists.ops4j.org/mailman/listinfo/general
