Well it really depends on what you're looking for.  I know what's the
status of pax-web is.  It's robust and mature.  And even if it will
never be a certified implementation, that won't stop me from using it.
 And I also agree that passing a TCK does not really guarantee
anything about the maturity / stability of any project.
