yep, liked it!

Though i am thinking about how to streamline release procedures using that
functionality.
Because, the old one took too much time, most of it boilerplate copy n
pasting urls and short "that and that released, please pick this hot stuff",
post ANN on mailinglist, link on blog post.
Its much better than many corporate release procedures, but still i wonder
what we can improve, assuming "we suck" [1].
1. First there is the technical release process. If mavencentral sync does
not have a bad day (like today), this is pretty slick. Blame
maven-release-plugin, but if it works, it works ;)
2. Releasenotes. This is a technical artifact that goes close to the
artifacts being released. I wonder how we could embedd the releasenotes
(without commiting the stuff before releasing manually) into the release
itself.
Jira4 does a pretty good job spitting out all kinds of formats.
3. Where to publish the announcements ? And what to link?
Usually we do a Release Page on Wiki for every release, and link all
announcements to that point.
In past Confluence/Jira this was the most tedious part. Some of cause
because the Confluence Create-New-Page was buggy (at least for me).

Now, i wonder how can simplify that.
Do we still want a release site for every release ?
Or should it be just a Confluence Blog post linking to Jira Release Notes
and talking about News and Noteworthy ?
Whats the standard "release call" channel set ?
- mailinglist: for sure.

Just thinking..
