Looking at the commit history of this fork there had been no commits except
for the Karaf commiters. I'm not sure but I think there will be some
additional fixes required to run Karaf-Exam combo in a better way. IMHO you
should be able to base your exam tests on a karaf-packaging of your choice
instead of building on a base karaf platform every time. This is quite on
top of my task-list side-by-side with pax-wicket. I'll keep you updated on
the state.

If you like to jump on the boat and do some contributions yourself I think a
new Pax-Exam container using Karaf-Runtime should be the way to go. Anyway,
the Exam Container code is definitely a good place to start.

As said, since I would like to work on it too within the next days we can
also do it together. Feel free to ping me on the OPS4J IRC (pieber is my
nick).

Kind regards,
Andreas
