This one's for Toni, probably: Playing around with JBoss OSGi, I ran into what looks like a bug in JBoss OSGi and a peculiarity in Tinybundles or Pax Exam.

The probe bundles have a Bundle-SymbolicName PAXEXAM-foobar and a Bundle-ManifestVersion set to 1, indicating OSGi R3.

Bundle-SymbolicName was introduced in R4, and JBOsgi seems to think, if the bundle has a symbolic name, it cannot be R3 and bails out.

Which is wrong, the R3 spec states that any unknown headers shall be ignored.

But still, is there a good reason not to set the bundle manifest version to 2 by default? Would that have to be changed in Tinybundles or in Pax Exam?

Best regards,
Harald
