*Development & Operations (DevOps) Engineer* Saba Idea Technology, a technology and ecommerce company who is the owner of popular websites such as aparat.com, cloob.com, mihandblog.com, lenzor.com, is looking for a talented, professional system administrator or software developer to join its technology team as a DevOps engineer.
Our technology team seeks a strong collaborator to help us build an infrastructure that is resilient, recoverable, and rapidly evolving, using modern Open Source technologies including Linux, FreeBSD, MongoDB, PHP, and MySQL. *Responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:* - Develop recovery plans that defend the business from threats including from data loss, disaster, and security breaches. - Design and implement effective monitoring schemes that promote proactive discovery of issues. - Understand and use configuration management tools such as Puppet, Chef and Ansible to create infrastructure that is repeatable and can evolve rapidly. - Perform operational tool development, monitoring, logging, reporting, controls and automation - Understand and use best practices for deployment processes and support - Consult on overall production systems architecture - Document configuration procedures *Competencies required*: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field - Five or more years of experience in configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting *nix-based production systems. - Experience in supporting relational databases such as MySQL. - Knowledge of programming in PHP, Python or similar dynamic, object-oriented languages (Python is preferred). - Experience in using cloud infrastructure with providers such as AWS, Google, and VMWare - Ability to build, monitor, and tune production servers and services - Knowledge of servers, switches, and various infrastructure management solutions Please send your resume to [email protected]
