Maybe you need 'osc up' at first to resolve the conflicts. Or backup your local files at first, then re-checkout the OBS rev and copy your files over.

With this I am able to build and create patch. But when I try to commit the patch I get error saying

“ Commit failed because local osc ‘Rev’ doesn’t match with the global obs ‘Rev’ ”.
