[Wu, Jackie] In Tizen 1.0, the public infrastructure was not ready so the image was built internally. In Tizen 2.0, those are in progress. > > If I have to do a development for middleware, I have to build my project, > obtain > an RPM, Make an Image -> Chroot into an image -> Do execution. > Am I correct here ? > [Wu, Jackie] Depends on what middleware you are developing, you may need to use chroot or emulator or real device. Different choices have different capabilities and limitations. Building a RPM package is done before you distribute your middleware. During the developing and debugging, you probably just need to manually update the libraries. I suppose that saves your time on the coding-debug cycle.

If you have the experience in MeeGo development, you should know the similar way. If not, you can either figure that out by refer to MeeGo wiki (http://wiki.meego.com/SDK/Docs/1.2/MeeGo_SDK_with_Xephyr) or wait till we create the Tizen chroot wiki. To have a simple chroot environment only for build is same for Tizen but to have Xephyr work needs more effort Since Tizen is different with MeeGo on the graphics stack. We are still working on that.
